Title Hunting with rangers
Hey guys,
I wanna get my legendary Carto with my ranger. Ive done it with my monk but im unsure what builds are effective for cartographing with a ranger. Any suggestions?
I would also like some tips on some HM mission tips that can make my life easier as a ranger.

I've found this kinda nice for mapping:
[skill]Escape[/skill][skill]Natural Stride[/skill][skill]Mending Touch[/skill][skill]Troll Unguent[/skill][skill]Holy Veil[/skill]
You're able to block to some degree and run 33% faster constantly, remove conditions very easily, and counter some hexing. It really speeds up the mapping of some areas.

I use this build for chest running and such, I imagine its good for mapping too:
[card]Shadow Form[/card][card]Dash[/card][card]Dark Escape[/card][card]Natural Stride[/card][card]Storm Chaser[/card][card]Troll Unguent[/card][card]Feigned Neutrality[/card][card]Death's Charge[/card]
It may seem like a lot of running skills but I use Storm chaser for moving between mobs, Dash and Natural Stride for sprinting away from pursuing mobs, and dark escape if i get caught in the middle of mob.
Stick shadow form up when you are moving past enemies, just deaths charge to them and dash/nat stride past.
Trolls is your heal.
Make sure you take a +20% enchant weapon and a shield for extra damage reduction when in a stance.

[skill=text]Serpent's Quickness[/skill] would work well in that build mate ^_^ Its another stance but even just use it when putting up Shadow Form

I've got 98% of cantha now, and have just been using:
[skill]Natural Stride[/skill][skill]Dodge[/skill][skill]Zojun's Haste[/skill][skill]Ursan Blessing[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Its fast, mindless, and effective. Although its getting tough to find bits to uncover now

This is the build I've been using for quite a while:
[skill]Escape[/skill] [skill]Dodge[/skill] [skill]Zojun's Haste[/skill] [skill]Generous Was Tsungrai[/skill] [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill]
I know there's no hex removal but otherwise it's great. I had to uncover some leftovers from vanquishing and had no problems. I love the instant heal from Generous Was Tsungrai.
